Will probably polish it up a little bit more and post it later on. Ultimately I was planning to use Maschine to record drums or samples into the reason sequencer as I can do with Kontakt. Both classes of plug-ins have issues with 64bit hosts. Again though, I strongly urge Maschine users to use the Maschine hardware for Maschine plugin instances, the design of the hardware and it's functionality was with that software in mind. Furthermore it opens up all Kontakt, Reaktor instruments, and Guitar Rig presets which is usually a multi-step mouse driven process.

I used to dink around with a lot of Novation products, but after you talk to a lot of Maschine users, you'll find that as you get more comfortable with using Maschine your other controllers tend to lose their allure, and you end up doing more and more just with Maschine. It's like having a Nocturn on speed, built into your drum pad controller, which also works as a groovebox, sampler, step sequencer, workstation, looper, etc Actually comparing that feature to the Nocturn is too kind to the Nocturn. Obviously not a huge problem because I can still load things if using the software and dropping into modules, but not if using the controller or trying to pull a preset directly from the left browser within the software. I agree with this workflow being expected. But, as per this video, it should be I realize it's not Sonar, but the configuration for Maschine should be the same, right?
