The blue arrow point to the fuel pump relay Posted on Feb 21, 2011 The cutoff switch is to turn the fuel off if the truck has been in an accident. We had something like that happen with an AeroStar and I wrote a friend all upset about it. The fuel pump was replaced about 2 years ago. I always find it much easier to lift the bed and move it back a few feet. It sounds like not fuel is getting to the engine. I guess I have two years to solve it.

I am reading 63 ohms so I think it to be okay. Then check any fuses or relays swap relays if you have a spare or switch with the same on in a different slot. The relay in in the cover box that contain a variety of fuses just behind the batterty on the driver side of the car. I recently ripped the dash apart curiously looking for vacuum leaks. It stops the fuel pump from running incase you roll the vehicle to prevent a fire. I have changed all the hoses you mentioned but still have the problem.
I have a cheat tho as I have a smoke machine that will help me find all the leaks. It likes to either run at 400 or 2200 rpm. How do you know if a canister is still alright? Any info on that would be great. I just took it out for a test drive and after 10kms about 6 miles the light shut off. Terry 11-17-11 I have a 1996 mazda B2300 pickup. It doesn't just shut off on it's own. I went to dealer and get the part because it is dealer item. I reset the code, and decided to drive the vehicle for several days prior to smogging the vehicle. One has to press the tab and remove the cover to see the relay. I found that the solenoid had fallen off its bracket and was resting on the battery ground wire.

However that is not the correct or safest way to check for a bad fuel pump. Now I have been driven for 5 days about 280 miles the check engin light never come back on. It's really not that bad. How do I reset the computer to get the lamp to go out so I can pass inspection.
